I'm Maya Bennett, a freelance web designer and developer based in Portland. For eight years I've helped small businesses punch above their weight online — no agency retainers, no jargon, just websites that work as hard as you do.

I started freelancing in 2018 after five years at a digital agency. I loved the craft but not the overhead — the account managers, the markups, the months of waiting. Working directly with owners turned out to be faster, friendlier and better work. Most of my projects now come from referrals.
